I am excited to be going to the French Alps in June to take on over 400km (and +10,000 meters of elevation) of the toughest climbs from the Tour de France to challenge myself and raise money for Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF).  

I decided to fundraise for the charity MSIF to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. MS is a progressive disease of the nervous system which causes debilitating symptoms including acute pain and severe difficulty with walking and balance. It’s currently incurable and, for most people, symptoms get worse year on year.

The money we raise through Cykelnerven funds international research grants, collaborations and programmes to help provide better care and support for people affected by MS. So every turn of the crank pushes us closer to a world without MS.

Cime de la Bonette is a fantastic climb with the highest paved road in Europe at over 2,800 meters of altitude (the last 10 kilometers of the climb are all above 2,000 meters). The climb has been in the Tour de France 4 times previously and the last time was 16 years ago in 2008. It is likely to be an epic stage this summer!

I'm fundraising for a world without MS

Hi,

Thanks for coming to my page! On June 5th, I'm taking part in one of the world's toughest cycling challenges, the Cykelnerven.

Cykelnerven is famed as Europe’s most unique and challenging charity cycling event. I'll be riding 400km over the toughest mountain climbs of this year’s Tour de France.
