The world’s (second) greatest cycling event

Cykelnerven is the world’s second greatest cycling event.

The (un)official table is as follows:

1. The Tour de France

2. Cykelnerven

3. Giro d’Italia/Vuelta/that other one in Belgium on cobbles

4. Everything else

It is run by the Danish MS Society –

the name, which translates very loosely 

as ‘the nerve to ride’ – in partnership 

with the MS International Federation 

(MSIF).

 The Danish team invited MSIF to add an international team so they could share this incredible event with a wider audience, 

and support the vital work MSIF does around the world. 

Every year 250 top amateur cyclists, 

take on the toughest and most famous 

peaks of that year’s Tour de France 

mountains – just a few weeks before the 

pros. They all get the stylish Cykelnerven kit, meals, accommodation and support for the whole event. The riders’ part of the deal is simple –

 blood, sweat and tears to get you to the top of the mountains and raise as much money as you can. 

Because multiple sclerosis sucks, but together we’re changing lives.
