The Rietbergpass is one of the steepest cols in Germany and was quite a challenge (for the first col I've ever ridden). The Oberjochpass was my favourite - riding up with great views and an even greater descent 🚵♀️💨

Im Juni werde ich bei "Cycle for MS" teilnehmen, einem einzigartigen internationalen Radsportevent, das von der Multiple Sclerosis International Federation organisiert wird. Bei "Cycle for MS" werde ich mehr als 400km über die härtesten Anstiege der Tour de France 2025 zurücklegen. Das mache ich, um Spenden für die Multiple Sklerose-Forschung und die Unterstützung von Personen mit MS weltweit zu sammeln. Meine Teilnahme steht im Einklang mit meinem Promotionsvorhaben, die positiven Effekte von Ausdauersport bei Personen mit MS besser zu verstehen – wunderbar kombiniert mit meinem Hobby, dem Rennradfahren.

Welcome to my fundraising page!
This year, I will take part in “Cycle for MS”, an unique international cycling event, organized by the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation. In “Cycle for MS”, I will ride more than 400km over the toughest mountain climbs of the 2025 Tour de France. I’m doing this to raise money for MS research and support for people living with MS worldwide. My participation is closely related to my PhD project, which aims to better understand the beneficial effects of endurance exercise in MS, perfectly combined with my personal hobby of cycling.

SPIROERGOMETRY - First interim test (05/03/25)
VO2max remained stable at 48ml/min/kg - which is not optimal but not bad after being knocked back by a cold for 2 weeks. There was a slight improvement in peak power (7W) ☺️💪
Training will now move outside to enjoy the beautiful spring weather 🌷🚴♀️
